In a "Tie-me-Up! Tie-me-Down! mode, nothing but hilarious though, the year is starting with "silky" deprivations and even more constraints of every possible kind. Specific guilds like the media, the central state, the work and family environment are certainly adding up to the presssure, but the question remains: how much of this bunch of lilliputian (not) burdens, is very much triggered by ourselves? Are things actually so bad? Yes, they probably are, but not irreversibly so.
