On the 25th of November we celebrate St Catherine's day, a very important figure in this blog šand a symbol of women's movement, as it is pronounced as a designated day for the elimination of violence against women by the U.N. General Assembly. As femicides and other atrocities against women are still rising constantly at alarming rates all over the world, EU included, it is imperative to act, educate and prevent threatening situations that put female lives in danger right here, right now. The pandemic is one of the reasons for unstable behaviours against minorities, more racism, more poverty, intense violence and crime that goes unpersecuted. Women especially need to speak up and men need to listen. So the world and societies can be at least tolerant again.
