The Brits with their famous playful sternness, their amazing decisiveness and phlegmatic Can-Do attitude- realized the inconceivable (for a dozen fellow European governments). They voted their departure from Brussels, soon-to-be-proved, ship wreck. Their cultural, political and financial conflict with Angela Merkel's strict Lutheranism and Dr. Wolfgang Schäuble rigid conservatism -hit a political dead end. The future- yet somehow difficult and uncertain- seems to belong entirely to the British from now on. Nor patron saint or dynast can cast down them Brits anymore- and their perspectives as a nation (EVEN outside the EU "family").
