EU Central reminds more and more of an inflatable life raft those days, with high-end commissioners and staff seriously losing the plot: inflation, energy crisis, war, climate change, extreme poverty. How many more endless and useless meetings should Brussels headquarters undertake before they realize that a revolution is on the way, or to simply articulate it, before people in the EU start turning to "Pirates" for help of some sort?

Specific guilds like the media, the central state, the work and family environment are certainly adding up to the presssure, but the question remains: how much of this bunch of lilliputian (not) burdens, is very much triggered by ourselves? Are things actually so bad? Yes, they probably are, but not irreversibly so.
